I am lucky to have a community of fine artists on my journal, and to be able to inspire them to sketch for me on occasion (well, "inspire" -- I mean a legitimate alternate word for inspire is "pester", isn't it?). A number of them have worked on Jack & Ellis; once upon a time there were separate posts, but since the hack I'm just going to roll them into one large one.

Obviously, what lurketh beneath the cut is imageheavy.

I'm particularly in love with the way Jack's posed in the background of the second one.

twirlynoodle has done several illustrations of Jack and Clare, as well as a few of the older folk. The title of the cut is an allusion to the fact that I mistook the pencil in Jack's mouth for a cigarette. :) Her art website is here.
