I am also rooting for Hanna -- but would like to point out that "fluffy starving owl puppies" is a line from Non's blog entry in chapter 3, and thus the quiz team name was probably lifted from that, and Non's retitling of his blog right after we meet the quiz team may be a red herring Sam's thrown out to distract us from other possibilities.
