The apostrophised "has" is a British thing, I think, you don't see it often in the US.

You know what's so weird? Like, everyone who has commented has mentioned Clare being sneaky with the coin, and I don't remember changing it OR EVEN writing it that way in the first place. It's a damn good thing I save drafts. :D
