I don't think you're necessarily wrong about Purva's behavior matching her age, but some of it derives from her being in a totally new situation -- she's spent her whole life with essentially one crew and one ship, on the water, and now she's not only with a totally new team but she's having to learn a lot, very fast, about "landsman" manners. I will go through and see about fixing this, but I'm okay if she's not 100% confident about where to find her validation.
