Oh gods, I remember having to figure out how to put a winter hat on with one hand from last January when I broke my wrist by cleverly slipping on ice in my Driveway Of Dooooom. Ian's method is exactly how I did it. I just hope that Ian wears slip-on shoes--figuring out how to deal with tying shoelaces one-handed was a bitch. I had to re-lace my shoes and use a one-handed tying method my housemate found for me on a Web site about shoe lacing.
