No, no, no! I loved the repetition - it really amused me to think of Sparks doing that to everyone who came through the door; great mental image. Just change up the "apparently knew" part, is my suggestion - though even that didn't throw up any red flags in situ.
I've not commented before because I usually read on my iPod and I'm not logged in on it, but I love this story so much! It's the first of your originals I've read, and it's fantastic fun. It probably helps that my husband and I have both worked or work for non-profits... can't wait for the next installment!
