Random note: In the comments to the fanfic you said somewhere something along the lines that ink slides off Neal´s skin because he´s so slippery in general. That worked much less for me for Colin, which is how I discovered that they´re separate characters. (I only know White Collar from fanfic and didn´t have a clear picture of Neal, so it was even more of a positive surprise.)
