I'm a little incoherent with glee at this point, but I did just want to say now that I'm on my first read of this novel and it is brilliant so far. I've loved your original stuff before, but this one is hitting it out of the park. The darkness in it is so beautiful, I'm enjoying the pacing, and the vernacular (both inside and outside prison) is amazing. Hopefully I will have more constructive thoughts later in the piece/as I keep reading, but I did just want to register that I'm very much enjoying so far.
Also, I adore Noel (I love Colin/Joseph/Lise, too, but I really love Noel).
